She has been working closely with the Youth Program Director on program development and expansion in Canada, India and Bhutan since 2006. Saskia has a Masters degree in International Development and a B.A. (Honours) in International Development and South Asian Religion. Saskia has a long-standing personal and practical interest in the potential for a beneficial merging of inward-focused and outward-focused approaches to progressive transformation. She is a published author in the field, applying an integral model to a variety of topics including sustainable development, community development, ecology, youth governance, inter-subjectivity, science and religion, consciousness studies and global issues.
Saskia has lived and worked for community-based and international development agencies in Canada, the US, the Netherlands and India. She has also "worked" as a yoga and South Asian philosophy teacher. She completed her 500-hour Yoga Alliance certified teachers training and has helped to teach advanced yoga retreats and teachers training in Canada and India.
